Curriculum Flow

Intake: Clarify target programs, timeline, and assess existing artwork
Project planning based on interests and ability & target schools
Execute 3 - 5 projects (core). Include sewing garments.
Development: Regular feedback sessions (live, or by reports)
Draft Portfolio: Assemble PDFs and online gallery
Feedback & Polish: Captions, layout, image quality
Mock Interviews: Practice pitches and Q&A
Submission Prep: Ensure file formats and prompts meet program guidelines

Plan A: Final Year Portfolio Consolidation for Submission

Target: Senior year students with 3+ solid projects; 3–6 months to submission

4 lessons (2 - 4 hrs each) per month
32 – 64 hrs total
over 4 months

Focused audit of existing artworks; consolidation of contents.
Or: Execute 1-2 new projects.
4–6 week blueprint to organize 3–4 projects
Organization and layout of every page
Refined artist statement tailored to target programs
Submission readiness checklist aligned to prompts

Ideal for: Efficient, high-impact organization and final polish. Last addition of 1-2 solid new project for impact.

Plan B: Solid Portfolio Builder
(1-Year Plan)

Target: Junior students with 1–2 years to prepare

Time: 2 hrs/week, 72 hours total
3 projects (10 lessons/project)
over 9–12 months

3 solid projects minimum (3–4 looks per project)
20+ page portfolio (overall); 12+ pages of process work
Comprehensive research and process documentation
Organization and consolidation of portfolio pages layout
Fashion illustration guidance
Digital portfolio guidance

Guidance included: Concept development, mood/research, development sketches, experiments, flats/CAD, fabric exploration; pattern/draping notes; final looks & garments; photography guidance

Plan C: Foundation Portfolio Course (Expanded, Deeper Scope)

Target: Younger students with 2–3 years to prepare

Time: 2 hrs/week, 140 hrs total
5 projects recommended (12 lessons/project)
over 12–24 months

4 solid projects (3-4 looks per project)
30+ page portfolio; detailed process work
9–16 final looks total; comprehensive research & process documentation as there are ample time for in-depth development
Ready-to-submit PDF portfolio plus optional online gallery
Fashion illustration guidance
Sustainability/ethics notes and material storytelling (where relevant)

Same as Package B. Include more time to learn sewing and dressmaking skills which builds a stronger foundation for mastering college curriculum.

Fee: $250/hr and up (depends on complexity and intensity)

Add-on service (optional): 1–2 Mock Interview sessions; review and polish Artist Statement.

*OPTIONAL: Garment Making Course can be considered if the student needs only tutoring in making garment, without Portfolio guidance.
