“我自從以前中學返學學過少少家政堂車縫，就再沒有碰過針線。現在退休後，終於有時間重拾年輕時的興趣，重頭開始學縫紉，真的好開心啊！”

 

“我的孩子整天總是喜歡自己找些家裡的剩布，剪剪裁裁替公仔做衣服，覺得他在這方面有興趣，應該好好學好縫紉基礎，正式學做衣服！”

 

“I’m a 4th year student studying fashion design at university. I really need help in making my graduation collection garments for the graduation fashion show! I have very interesting and unique designs, but I don’t know how to make some of them! I want to work together with you in my experimentation!”

 

“I’m a 2nd year fashion design student in college. I need extra help in understanding pattern drafting, and also do more practice. At school, the teacher covered the material too quickly for me to understand! Here I can learn from the instructor one on one, asking questions anytime, and take my time to practice areas I am weak at.”

 

我是中學六年級學生，一直熱衷於時裝設計，今年要考DSE和報讀大學，好緊張啊！我已經有很多artwork 作品，但是不知道如何整理出個人作品集。我在這裡學了時裝插畫課程，令我能更好地表達我的設計元素，另外又學了做衫，做晚禮服等。原來時裝這行的技巧好多，還好我提早開始準備。所以暑假已經收到理大的錄取通知了！入讀心儀的時裝設計科。

“我識少少縫紉，做過一些簡單的裙子。後來也買過一些紙樣回來嘗試跟著做。但是我真是看不懂這些紙樣啊！不知道怎樣跟著做！多謝老師教我怎樣跟紙樣做衫。“

‘我算是懂一些車縫，但是對於布料所以完全不懂！可能因為買錯布，以前好幾次做出來的衫都很奇怪，不是我想像的樣子，多謝老師教我怎樣選布。”

​我懂得一些基本車縫，也會做一些簡單的衣服。我幫我的兒子跟著紙樣做過衫，但是總是不稱身！因為他的肩部非常寬！我來學了如何量身和畫紙樣，還有最重要的是怎樣根據實際人體尺寸修改紙樣，令到衣服真正合身材。

 

“I want to study fashion design in the future in university. I like to design and draw dresses, shoes…etc, and I love beautiful clothes. But I didn’t know that I have to learn sewing, draw illustrations, do research and make themed collections in my portfolio when I apply to college. I’m glad I am here to start early to learn these skills, so that I will be confident and well prepared when I’m making my college applications in the future.”

 

“我家裡有很多質地，款式都很好的衣服，但是不大合身，需要修改才能穿。我很想自己動手改，因為拿出去該，又麻煩又貴。來這裡學了一些改衫的技巧，真是終生受用，自己改真是好有滿足感呢！”

 

“I am so sick and tired of not being able to buy clothes that fit me! I am very large sized and I just can’t find any clothes in stores that fit me. So I want to learn to make clothes myself. I want to learn all the basic pieces like blouses, skirts, pants, dresses ....”

 

“老師！多謝你啊！我好中意網上看到的這件連身裙，但是價錢貴得驚人。在這裡學了做衫，自己複製了一件幾乎一模一樣的裙，真是太開心了！”

 

“My daughter’s birthday is coming up. I want to make a skirt for her, like the style she said she likes. I’m her dad, and I don’t know sewing at all! This is a huge challenge for me. But I will work hard and make this a nice gift for my daughter.”

"謝謝老師這麼有耐心教我的孩子！這個孩子讀書不大用功，也沒哪一科成績是特別好的，但是對於縫紉，做衣服，藝術手作就非常有興趣。希望她學到這門專長，將來在這方面可以有所發展。"
