Embroidery and applications
Basic Embroidery Course:
Suitable for beginners. Students will learn the basic type of stitches, and then work on a chosen pattern/drawing design of their own, and apply appropriate stitches to complete the artwork.

Lesson 1: Learn the basic types of stitches: Running stitch, Back stitch, Split stitch, Stem stitch, chain stitch, Lazy Daisy stitch….

Lesson 2: Students will select their own embroidery pattern, and learn how to transfer patterns using tracing paper. Then start to embroider with appropriate stitches.

Lesson 3 &4: Complete whole artwork in class with guidance of right color of threads, and discuss more about how can we make use of embroidery in our clothes/accessories.

4 lessons (2 hrs/lesson, total 8 hrs.)
Wednesday Evening class. -
Course fee: 1160 (materials all included)
*Intermediate* Embroidery Course:
Suitable should have completed the Basic Embroidery Course already. Students will learn more advanced stitches, and then work on a chosen pattern/drawing or their own, and apply appropriate stitches to complete the artwork.

Lesson 1: Learn more stitch types: Satin stitch, Long and short stitch, Cross stitch, Leaf stitch, French Knot, Satin leaf stitch….

Lesson 2: Students will decide on their own project (embroider on ring, or garment, cushion, bag….) and select their own embroidery pattern. Learn how to transfer patterns using tracing paper. Then start to embroider with appropriate stitches.

Lesson 3 &4: Complete whole artwork project in class with guidance of right color of threads and stitches.

4 lessons (2 hrs/lesson, total 8 hrs.)
Wednesday evening class -
Course fee: 1250
Materials all included except for the fabric of the final project chosen by the student
基礎刺繡課程：
適合初學者。學習各類基礎針法，隨後在自選圖案/繪圖設計上運用合適針法完成圖案作品。

第一課：學習基礎針法——平針、回針、劈針、輪廓繡、鎖鏈繡、雛菊繡等

第二課：學員自選刺繡圖案，學習使用描圖紙轉印圖案的方法，並開始運用合適針法進行刺繡

第三&四課：在老師指導下完成整幅框布作品（包括繡線配色指導），並探討如何將刺繡技藝運用於服飾/配飾設計

4節課（每節2小時，共8小時）

【進階】刺繡課程:
適合已完成基礎刺繡課程的學員。
學習高階刺繡針法，並在自選圖案/布料（如戒指布、服飾、抱枕、手袋等）上運用合適的技法完成作品。

第一課：進階針法教學——緞面繡、長短針、十字繡、葉片繡、法式結粒繡、緞面葉片繡等
-
第二課：自定創作載體（刺繡框布/衣物/靠墊/手袋等）。 學習描圖紙轉印技法，然後根據作品特性選用針法刺繡

第三&四課：在導師指導下，選擇合適的繡線配色和針法，於課堂內完成整個作品。（學員自選底布需自備） 4節課（每節2小時，共8小時）
